Sophie Nachemson-Ekwall receives the highest score in this year's ranking of business journalists. The survey is done for the twelfth year by H&H and Svensk Image.
Sophie Nachemson-Ekwall, Dagens Industri, is the business journalist which recieves the highest score. Her colleague Gunnar Örn is the runner up however with only have of the scoring.

Among business dailies media Svenska Dagbladet Näringsliv wins ahead of Dagens Industri, for the second year.
Dagens Industri on the other hand wins Best Media All Categories with a narrow margin to the Financial Times. A-ekonomi och Ekonomiekot share the victory in the Radio & TV category.

Sub-Prime is the Event of the year
The top news for the past twelve months is the Sub-Prime scandal, stealing the top ranking from last year's winner the Super boom. The falling dollar, rising oil price and raw material boom came second, and the domestic scandal at Carnegie receives a mere bronze.

Anders Borg is the Man of the Year
Minister of Finance Anders Borg is voted Man of the Year in Economics this year too. He gets more than half of the votes from the electorate. Ericsson's CEO, Carl-Henric Svanberg, came second, possibly be due to the profit warning that never came last September. Mats Odell, the minster responsible for the sellout of Government-owned companies recieved the bronze.

The ranking is based on 201 answers from a questionnaire given to financial analysts, CEOs, IR and information officers and investors, The survey is made for the twelfth year by H&H and Svensk Image. The Awards were presented at an event hosted by financialhearings.com at Operakällaren June 10th 2008.
