Swedish business daily Dagens Industri and www.di.se are publishing the Swedish H&H Webranking results today. The best Swedish corporate website is Swedish Match, with a score of 84.75 points, followed by SCA with 79.5 points and Eniro with 78.5 points.
The eleventh annual H&H Webranking Sweden saw global tobacco company Swedish Match defend its top position for the second year in a row as the Swedish corporate website that best meets the information requirements of international financial markets. Their score, 84.75 points, is an increase by 3.5 points from last year.
Dagens Industri’s article is focusing on the findings that Swedish corporate websites seem to have been overtaken by their European rivals. “Swedish companies used to be the best in class regarding online corporate communication. But now the table seems to have turned. For the first time in H&H Webranking history no Swedish company is represented on the European top ten list”, comments Marcus Eriksson, Head of H&H Webranking 2007.
The biggest rises this year are leading Nordic search company Eniro and investment company Latour. Their scores rose substantially, although the demands in the test protocol have been strengthened this year.
H&H Webranking is Europe’s leading survey of corporate websites. It has been conducted annually since 1997. Each year approximately 500 websites are reviewed. Results are published in financial newspapers around Europe.
